The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the death toll from Israeli attacks in the Strip had risen to 10,022 since October 7, and that the health system had become completely helpless and suffering from complete paralysis, calling for the provision of a safe and urgent humanitarian corridor for the entry of medical supplies, fuel, and medical delegations.
In a related context, the Palestinian News Agency said (Tuesday) that a young man was killed and two others were injured by Israeli forces’ bullets north of Hebron in the West Bank. She added that Saad Nimr Al-Faroukh (24 years old) was killed and that one of the two injured young men was in critical condition.
Confrontations broke out after Israeli forces stormed the town of Sa’ir, north of Hebron, at dawn. The agency reported that army personnel fired live bullets, stun grenades and gas bombs at young men during the confrontations.
The Palestinian agency also said that a young man was injured during the Israeli army’s storming of the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, and that five were injured during the Israeli forces’ storming of the Tulkarm camp in the northern West Bank at dawn.
The agency reported that two young men were injured by fragments of a missile fired by an Israeli march, and a woman and two young men were wounded by bullets and were taken to a hospital, noting that confrontations broke out between young men and the Israeli forces, which fired heavy bullets.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Tuesday that it had targeted military vehicles and Israeli forces in the Tulkarm camp in the northern West Bank with explosive devices and caused “direct casualties.”
She added on her Telegram account that her members were engaged in “violent clashes” against Israeli vehicles and forces penetrating Tulkarm. She said that “widespread” confrontations are taking place on all fronts of the conflict in the camp.
