Many killed in Pakistan attack
Earlier this month, a bomb attack hit a rally of the political party Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) in the same town, injuring at least eleven people.
The surrounding province has been regularly hit by attacks for years. These are regularly claimed by the local branch of the Islamic State, or by nationalists from the province who demand greater autonomy for Baluchistan and a larger share in the revenues from gas extraction in the province.
Tehreek-e-Taliban, the Pakistani branch of the Taliban, has said it had nothing to do with the attack.
