An avalanche fell in Borovets, snowboarders and skiers were overwhelmed. This happened in the area of Markudzhik 3. A group of Greek skiers and snowboarders was overwhelmed.
According to PSS data, some of them managed to get out, but one remained buried under the snow.

The signal was submitted to the Mountain Rescue Service (MSS) at around 14:13 by a witness from the group. They still do not have exact information on how many people were in the area, but it is most likely four Greeks.
More than 15 mountain rescuers with 4 dogs are searching for debris. The avalanche had dimensions of about 150 meters “tongue” and nearly 30 meters wide.
