According to Ghulam Waris, a resident of Atif Vihar Colony of BBD area, he has an old enmity with Tasleem, a resident of Kasyan of Kushinagar. He was going somewhere on bike at ten o’clock on Wednesday night. Tasleem and his two companions stopped the bike on Darbar Marg. On protesting, Taslim attacked his chest with a knife. After this he was attacked with a sharp object worn in his hand.
The victim alleges that a few days ago, while going to the village, Tasleem, his brother and 27 unknown people had attacked him. Then a case of attempt to culpable homicide was registered in Kasyan police station. The lawyer told that the court has declared Tasleem’s brother Tausif a fugitive. History-sheeter action has been taken on the showdown. According to Inspector BBD Ajay Narayan Singh, the matter is being investigated.
