Deadly accident on the Cipali Km 72 toll road, Purwakarta, West Java killed 12 passengers PO Handoyo bus. This accident adds to the long list of fatal accidents on the Cipali toll road since October 2023.
Reported detikJabaruntil the beginning of October 2023, there have been 11 fatalities due to accidents on the 116 km toll road.
The following is a summary of the four deadly accidents that occurred on the Cipali Toll Road:
1. 2 Tegal Residents Killed in Single Accident on Cipali Toll Road
On Thursday (20/4/2023) at around 00.00 WIB, a minibus crashed into a road divider at Km 84 B of the Cipali Toll Road, Cipeundey District, Subang. As a result, two people were declared dead in this single accident.
2. 3 People Died Due to Potholes on the Cipali Toll Road
Not long after the incident above, the deadly accident on the Cipali Toll Road occurred again on Tuesday (25/4/2023). Right at Km 153, Kertajati area, Majalengka, a minibus had a single accident which resulted in the death of 3 people.
3. Accident on the Cipali Toll Road which killed the Chairman of the PPP Karanganyar DPC
Chairman of the DPC PPP Karanganyar Imron Supono (42) died after being involved in an accident on the Cipali toll road. The accident occurred after the car Imron was traveling in hit a box truck. The accident occurred on November 11, 2023.
4. 12 People Died in the Deadly PO Handoyo Bus Accident
The last fatal accident on the Cipali Toll Road occurred on Friday (15/12) yesterday. This terrible incident also killed 12 people who were passengers on the PO Handoyo bus on the Yogyakarta-Bogor route.
This single accident occurred at Km 72 of the Cipali Toll Road, Purwakarta. The bus carrying 21 passengers lost control while cornering and hit the guard rail.
