The 35-year-old man from Den Bosch who was seriously injured in the accident on the Vlijmenseweg in Den Bosch on Thursday night, died of his injuries in hospital. This is reported by the police. A 31-year-old man from the South Holland village of Krimpen aan de Lek also died in the accident.
The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The car in which both men were traveling went off the road. The car then hit a traffic sign and ended up in the water. Divers from the fire service evacuated the victims from the car.
Both men were resuscitated. The 31-year-old man died at the scene. The 35-year-old man was seriously injured and was taken to the Jeroen Bosch Hospital. There he died of his injuries. As far as is known, no other traffic was involved in the accident.
