Game uses maximum resolution of 1440p on all consoles
Dead Space arrived (27) today for Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5 and PC. The game is a remake developed by Motive and published by Electronic Arts. To discover the graphical differences of each platform, the channel ElAnalistaDeBits do YouTube carried out a technical comparison by placing the available versions side by side.
O Xbox Series X it’s the PlayStation 5 have two graphics modes, Quality and Performance, in Quality mode the game runs at 1440p at 30 FPS with ray tracing. In Performance mode, the game runs at 2048×1080 pixels, with ray tracing turned off.
The Xbox Series S, model with hardware economical among those reviewed, runs the game at dynamic 1440p at 30 FPS and has no ray tracing. None of the consoles run the game in 4K resolution
On PC, the game manages to run at 4K at around 60 FPS with DLSS performance, with graphics settings at maximum and ray tracing turned on. With the RTX 3060 Ti the game can run at 1440p with 60 FPS and balanced DLSS. While the RTX 3050 delivers more than 30 FPS at 1080p resolution, with DLSS quality.

The game has a shorter loading time on PC, using high-speed SSD. On consoles, the PS5 version takes a few seconds longer than the Xbox Series S|X to load. The Xbox Series S not only lacks ray tracing, it also has less detailed textures, shadows, and lighting than other platforms.
