EA and Motive announced a release date for the game during the developer’s Crafting the Tension Art developer livestream. The game promises to stay true to the exciting vision of the original game, and will feature improved audio quality and sharper graphics that should bring new levels of immersion and quality. “We at Motive have had a lot of fun developing this remake as we are true fans of the franchise and want to treat it with the respect it deserves”said Phillippe Ducharme, executive producer of Dead Space.
In the game, you take on the role of Isaac Clarke, an engineer on a routine mission to repair a mining spaceship. Once on board, however, he finds a living nightmare: the crew has been slaughtered and infected, and Isaac’s friend Nicole is missing. Armed only with his technical tools and skills, he faces a struggle for survival. You fight not only against the Necromorphs, but also against the slowly eroding mind of the main character.
