On Sunday morning, the police were notified that a dead person had been found on board a leisure boat at Marineholmen.
According to operations manager in the West police district Morten Rebnord, the death was reported by other people who were in the boat.
The deceased has not been formally identified, but the police have a guess as to who the person is.
The person’s relatives have not been notified of the death. Rebnord therefore does not want to go into detail about who the people who were in the boat are.
– We have a patrol there, and forensics technicians will carry out investigations at the scene.
The police currently have no suspicion that a criminal offense has occurred. The deceased will be autopsied.
