Dead man charged with murder of woman in Bergen – NRK Vestland

The man he has become found dead in an apartment in Ytre Sandviken in Bergen on December 21, he was granted defendant status in the case, police said in a press release.

Police believe the man most likely killed the woman who was found bloodied and lifeless outside a house.

It was Wednesday of last week that the woman was found badly injured and bleeding under the veranda of an apartment in Bergen.

The man was found injured in an apartment after this.

Both died shortly after being rushed to the hospital.

– The background to the accusation is the traces the police found at the scene, combined with the injuries to the dead woman and man, says pprosecutor in the case, Inger-Lise Høyland.

– He was having an affair

A thorough investigation was launched last week and the police carried out several seizures at the crime scene and in the apartment following the incident.

Several witnesses have been questioned, but more remain.

– The two were previously in a relationship. But what the relationship was like between the two before the crash, we’re working to map out, she says.

Police are still investigating the incident.

The police do not rule out that there were others involved in the accident.

– We are still conducting investigations against it in the form of video surveillance review, movement mapping and communication between the dead and others, he says.

The dead man was previously convicted of making death threats against his former partner, according to a judgment NRK has seen.

I will not say what kind of damage

Both were said to have suffered stab wounds after the incident, according to the report BT and B.A. But Høyland won’t say what kind of items were seized or what kind of damage was caused.

– We have an overview of the injuries, but I don’t want to say more about them, he says.

At a press conference last week, police said they shouldn’t have received any reports of conflict between the woman and the man prior to the killing.
