Died Lars Blochthe “megapresident” of Fantozzi against everyone. The Danish actor was 83 years old and from the late 1950s he had lived in Rome, where he died on Sunday. Known for the role of the Megapresident Arcangelo of the film Fantozzi against everyoneinterpreter of a scene that has become legendary among the fans of the series it has as its protagonist Paolo Villaggio. Born in Hellerup on August 6, 1938, Bloch arrived in Italy in the late 1950s to pursue an acting career. Destined to be a character actor, he often had early roles as a handsome young man in films such as The beauty of Hippolyta (1962), 18 year olds in the sun by Camillo Mastrocinque (1962), Stories about the sand (1963), The beautiful families, The flying saucer (1964) in Tinto Brass, Extramarital (1964).
But Lars Bloch became known thanks to the character of the Mega President Archangel in Fantozzi against everyone (1980) directed by Black Relatives and of the Village itself. Unforgettable the scene in which the accountant Ugo Fantozzi (Paolo Villaggio) after having realized his dream of writing in the sky with his finger the phrase “The Mega President is an asshole!” he is discovered and invited to cancel it. “Are you convinced of what you wrote about me?” Asks the Mega President with the almost angelic aura of him. “I didn’t write it, I just thought it!”, Fantozzi replies. “You mustn’t think, Fantozzi, this is his mistake. Bloch had been a young performer of numerous spaghetti westerns, including Navajo Joe (1966) by Sergio Corbucci, A dollar in your teeth (1967) by Luigi Vanzi, Trinity and Sartana children of … (1972), West fits you tight, man … Alleluja is here (1972). Among other his films Certainly, most certainly, anzi.. (1969) by Marcello Founded and three films by Joe D’Amato (Heroes in Hell from 1973, Red jackets of 1975 ed Emanuelle in America from 1977).
Last year at the age of 89, the galactic megadirector of the film Fantozzi, the actor, also died Paolo Paolonithe Duke Count Maria Rita Vittorio Balabam of the saga conceived by Villaggio.
