We’ve even heard rumors of how it’s been canceled behind the scenes. The good news? The final product is a success.
The years of waiting seem to have a sweet ending, both for gamers and for Deep Silver as the publisher and Dambuster Studios as the developer. The reason? Because this game proved successful in the market. In just 3 days of its release, Dead Island 2 is sure to hit 1 million copies, an accumulation of cross-platform physical and digital versions. Deep Silver also shares other interesting data, such as a total of 11 million accumulated playing time from all gamers up to 28 million recorded deaths.
