In the 106-page document, the man explains that he acted “because he believes in a conspiracy theory that white people are being replaced by other races.”
The supermarket is located in a predominantly black neighborhood about 3 miles from downtown Buffalo. The shooter allegedly livestreamed the shooting.

“The reaction to this shooting will probably be the same as always: Democrats and President Joe Biden will want to limit gun ownership, but that will be stopped in the national parliament,” said US correspondent Erik Mouthaan. “The state of New York also has very strict gun laws, so the question will be how the perpetrator could still get a weapon.”
