A 72-year-old man from Amsterdam died in an accident between a motorcycle and a scooter on the Oranjebaan. It’s about the scooter rider. The incident happened around half past nine this morning. The other person, also from Amsterdam, was taken to hospital with arm injuries and out of danger.

Several emergency services immediately arrived on the scene, including a trauma helicopter, but resuscitation was to no avail.
It is not yet clear how the accident could have happened.
The accident took place on the Oranjebaan with the Bankrasweg. The road is closed due to the investigation into the accident.
