AMSTERDAM – A large, spreading fire in an apartment complex on Hoek van Hollandstraat in Amsterdam killed someone in the night from Thursday to Friday, the fire service reported. Three people had smoke inhalation and suffered minor injuries. They were checked on the spot by paramedics.
