In Kesteren, in the Betuwe in Gelderland, a person has died in an accident with a tuk-tuk, a motorized tricycle. Three people were also injured, police said. It is not yet known who the dead or injured are.
It is a one-sided accident: the vehicle shot off the Rijnbandijk around 7.30 pm. Exactly how the accident happened is still under investigation. Five ambulances and an air ambulance were called.
Three years ago, a serious accident happened with a tuk-tuk. That happened a little further down in Ingen. Someone was also killed.
