I currently have a pretty stupid problem and I don’t know how to solve it. I’m a small YouTuber, but I haven’t done anything actively for about a year. But one video got quite a few views and I received some comments with questions.
The thing is, when I try to reply to these comments, my own comments disappear again after refreshing the window or reloading the video. No matter if it’s a normal comment or I want to reply to another comment.
And on my own channel with my video.
The whole thing happened about 2 weeks ago. Before I could reply normally but then suddenly the comments were simply removed. I have no strike on the video, no strike on my account, and Restricted Mode is disabled. I didn’t receive a report about anything, it was just there.
Does anyone have any advice on what I can do? As far as I know, there is no YouTube support for small YouTubers and I can’t find anything helpful about it on the internet. I would be really grateful for that, thank you!
Edit: No, the comments are not against any guidelines. Even if I tell a user “contact me on discord if you need more help” or something like that, the comment is deleted. Then I would have written a normal comment and pinned it, but it also disappeared without a trace after reloading the video.
