The concert “Music, that’s what unites us” is ongoing, and De Mono couldn’t be absent. The legendary group performed on the stage of the Forest Opera during this year’s Top Of The Top Sopot Festival 2024.
De Mono opened their performance with the hit “Kochać Inaczej”. It’s hard to believe that this is a song from 1989. The audience, who sang with Andrzej Krzywy, was delighted.
– We are very happy that after 35 years, because 35 years ago we played this song in this place and who would have guessed that after so many years we are here again, the audience is standing, everyone knows the words. Thank you, it is a great honor for us – said Andrzej Krzywy from the stage.
De Mono’s song “My City at Night” was also warmly received.
De Mono on stage for over 35 years
The band De Mono was formed in 1987 and two years later conquered the charts and the hearts of Poles with a song from their debut album “Kochać Inaczej”. The album won a number of awards and distinctions, and the title song did not leave the Third Programme Hit List for the entire year.
The musicians still have a lot of energy. They hope to celebrate at least 50 years on stage.
