In various De Lijn depots, staff spontaneously stopped work after the management’s announcement. Industrial action is still possible tomorrow. For example, the transport company expects disruption to services in the regions of Mechelen, Turnhout, Aarschot, Tremelo and the entire Brussels periphery.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and will post regular updates on our website and social media,” says De Lijn. “We also recommend that travelers consult the app. We try to keep track as best as possible of which rides are running and which are not and to indicate this in the app.”
