From the start of the 2023-2024 school year, the De Léry-Monseigneur-De-Laval primary school, in Beauceville, will follow in the footsteps of the Notre-Dame schools, in Saint-Elzéar and the Spark, in Sainte-Marguerite, for the project to class aids.
The MNA for Beauce-Nord, Luc Provençal, made the announcement in a press release today, on behalf of the Minister of Education, Bernard Drainville.
This pilot project aims to deploy classroom support resources in schools. It is both an opportunity to promote the mission of the teaching staff, namely to teach, to make use of the skills and expertise of other resources within the school team and to promote collaboration between Staff. Classroom aides support the teacher by performing non-instructional tasks.
Building on the success of the pilot project, the government wants to increase the number of classroom aids by 4,000. This is also part of the offer tabled in the negotiations.
« I am really happy to know that a new school in Beauce-Nord will be able to take advantage of this interesting pilot project. Our teachers need support now more than ever, and it is the students who ultimately benefit the most. “Said the Provençal deputy.
