The work The witches from the company from Cáceres From the Mock Theater has achieved a total of four awards at the XXIX Raúl Moreno Molero Amateur Theater Contest in Torrejoncillo which was recently closed with the awards ceremony and the representation of Party, from Suripanta Teatro. The city council expressed its gratitude to all the participating groups that have made possible one more edition of this contest that will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary next year. De la Burla Teatro won the award for the best theatrical production and the best costumes, as well as the best lighting and musicalization.
On the other hand, the second best theatrical production was for El Pitillo, of the group Mujeres Aldeanas, from Villa del Río (Córdoba). The award for best director went to Pepi Mantas also for his direction of El Pitillo and the award for best leading actress to Pepi Mantas for her role in this play as well.
The award The Audience Special was for Chicas de Juernes, which was represented by Babylon Teatro, in Madrid, which was also awarded for the best set design.
The award for the best leading actor was left deserted, while the one that corresponds to the best supporting actress went to Eva Carretero for her role in Senectute, of Druida Teatro, of Alcobendas (Madrid) and in this category in male the award was taken JR Crespo, also from Druida Teatro. This group also got the award for the best characterization.
