‘De Kotmadam’ returns (finally) with new episodes | show

TVAfter a long wait, “De Kotmadam” finally reopens the doors of his student room in brand new episodes. The episodes were already boxed in 2020, but have remained on the shelf to this day. And this much to the chagrin of the actors, like Marco Verstraete previously stated in an interview. “It would be a shame if the lock remained in the drawer forever.”

The last day of recording has already taken place in 2020, but from 20 November the new episodes of “De Kotmadam” will finally appear on television. Regulars Katrien Devos (Jeanne) and Mark Verstraete (Jef) once again take on the role of owners. The boxing was long overdue, but the episodes have remained in the archive until now. Mark, among others, was not happy with this. He expressed his frustration in a previous interview. “VTM hasn’t aired the brand new episodes yet. I’m not in a good mood for that. We want recognition. We have been working on a beautiful ending to what has been in our lives for thirty years. It is a touching farewell. It would be a shame if that final deal was left in the drawer forever, “he said.

New student

But soon it will finally be here. In the episodes, a new student, Simon, will appear, played by “Lisa” actor Arno Moens. “Playing one of the students in such an iconic series was a unique experience. These recordings happened before I got the part of Remco in ‘Lisa’, “says Arno.” Both characters have something in common. Simon is a very fluid, spontaneous and energetic creative, just like Remco. “He continues:” The only difference is that he finds his roommates slightly more important than he studies him. This will lead to a series of comic scenes. “

He joins his colleague “Lisa” Anouck Luyten (Katja), who can be seen in “De Kotmadam” as Ines. She along with Helle Vanderheyden (Martha) and Frederik Huys (Victor) will fix things as usual.

‘De Kotmadam’ can be seen from Sunday 20 November at 19.55 on VTM.
