It still depends on the vaccination rate and mutations, emphasized De Jonge. He therefore warned against carelessness. “You have to observe one and a half meters as long as you are not vaccinated.”

He called the second shot “very important” for everyone who has been vaccinated with the vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca, also because the vaccines protect better against new variants of the virus.
In order to get as many people as possible vaccinated, net as in Germany mobile injection sites have also been deployed here, De Jonge said. These are buses that are temporarily in a certain place. This is necessary in certain neighborhoods where migrants or low-literate people live. “We want to increase the vaccination rate not only in general, but also there.”
The cabinet assumes that adults who want to be vaccinated will have received their first shot in mid-July. At first that was at the beginning of July, but due to delivery problems, that date has been postponed.
Next Saturday many measures will be taken already (partly) released and according to the cabinet, the Netherlands will “actually” come out of the lockdown. On June 30 the next step will be taken, and more corona rules will be taken off the table.
