Manchester –
Gary Neville join in the heat of future rumors Frenkie de Jong. The Dutch player was asked to sue Barcelona lack of wages.
De Jong’s name has been widely discussed in the transfer market this summer. He was approached by Manchester United who were willing to spend quite a lot of money, but the player apparently still feels at home at Camp Nou.
It was later revealed that the reason why De Jong was reluctant to move was because Barcelona still owed him a salary of up to 17 million euros, due to the suspension of payments due to the COVID-19 pandemic that made the Catalan giants experience a financial crisis.

As a result, MU was not able to complete the transfer of De Jong even though they had reached an agreement of 75 million euros with Barcelona. De Jong is still adamant in staying at Barcelona.
This protracted transfer process is certainly detrimental to MU, which needs their wanted players to arrive before the 2022/2023 season begins. Not only that, many are also annoyed with Barcelona, which is the root of the problem.
Moreover, Barcelona easily brought in new players including Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, when De Jong’s salary debt was still unpaid.
One of them is Gary Neville who is a former Manchester United captain. He asked De Jong to sue Barcelona who did not want to pay his salary shortage.
De Jong should consider legal action v Barcelona and all players should be behind him!A club spending fortunes on new players whilst not paying the ones they have under contract their full money is immoral and a breach. @FIFPRO should be all over bullying like this and stop it.

“De Jong should sue Barcelona and all the players should support him!” Neville tweeted.
“Clubs just buy new players, while they don’t pay their current players according to contracts. Absolutely immoral. FIFPRO should stand up for players and stop this.”
