Frank de Boer may make a number of changes to the position of the Dutch national team for the Nations League game with Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday. The national coach did not want to reveal the eleven names yet.
“I already had a few positions in mind in advance that might change,” said De Boer ahead of the press conference on Saturday. “But we’ll see that tomorrow.”
It was already known that Tim Krul will defend the goal in the Nations League games against Bosnia and Poland (Wednesday). In the exhibition match against Spain (1-1), debutant Marco Bizot got the chance on Wednesday. Besides Krul, a number of other basic players also got a rest against Spain. Stefan de Vrij, among others, started on the couch.
De Boer has a fully fit squad for the match against Bosnia. All players have also tested negative for the corona virus twice.

Vilhena negative in new corona test
Tonny Vilhena tested positive earlier this week and left the training camp of Orange. According to De Boer, “no trace of the corona virus” was found during a new test, but he does not intend to bring the FC Krasnodar midfielder back into his selection.
“According to the doctor, it is not the right order to call him up again. I have thought about that”, said the national coach, who only adds a player to his selection if Frenkie de Jong or Georginio Wijnaldum runs into a suspension. Both players miss the next game if they get a yellow card against Bosnia. “Then I will very quickly call for a replacement.”
In the past six international matches, the Orange team scored only three times. Despite this, De Boer is not worried about his team’s scoring ability. “Scoring is a wave movement,” he said. “It may just be that the next international period will be full of players who score. I am convinced that we have enough scoring power.”
The Nations League match between the Netherlands and Bosnia and Herzegovina starts on Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Johan Cruijff ArenA and is led by French referee François Letexier.
