The DDT group is canceling concerts for three months because the band’s leader, Yuri Shevchuk, suffered a myocardial infarction. All previously planned concerts are postponed until 2024, the group reports on its official website.

“The DDT group is forced to announce that Yuri Shevchuk suffered a myocardial infarction in September of this year. Now Yuri Yulianovich is undergoing a mandatory rehabilitation course for the final restoration of health, which will last until mid-December 2023,” the message says.

In particular, the concert in Israel at the Menorah Mivtachim Arena is postponed to January 6, 2024, the concert in Belgrade will take place on January 10, in Limassol on May 11, in Dubai on January 3, 2024.

All previously purchased tickets are valid for the new dates; if it is impossible to attend the concerts next year, tickets can be returned at the official ticket office.

It is clarified that Shevchuk is now feeling well.

As reported EADaily, Yuri Shevchuk criticized the actions of the Russian authorities after the start of a special military operation. The group’s concerts in Russia began to be cancelled.

After the concert in Ufa, where Shevchuk once again criticized him, he was fined 50 thousand rubles under the article on discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
