Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Technology issuer PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) reported a 69.3% increase in profit for the year in the first half of 2023.
Referring to the interim financial report as of June 2023, the profit for the current period of the issuer owned by one of the richest tycoons in Indonesia, Otto Toto Sugiri, was recorded at IDR 242.23 billion. Meanwhile in 2022, the company posted a net profit of IDR 143 billion.
From the top line side, the Company posted revenue of IDR 632.81 billion. This figure is 38.11% higher than 2022 amounting to IDR 458.16 billion. Meanwhile, cost of revenue increased by 24.8% from IDR 203.54 billion to IDR 254.12 billion.
DCII’s revenue was mostly supported by coolocation services amounting to R597.79 billion, or contributing 94.4% of its total semester revenue. While the rest is third party income of IDR 612.03 billion.
“For the years ended June 30, 2023 and 2022, revenue from customers who individually have a number of transactions exceeding 10% of revenue, each consisting of transactions to 2 (two) customers and 3 (three) customers, with the number of transactions for each year amounting to Rp. 252.9 billion and Rp. 233.9 billion, respectively,” DCII Management added.
The position of the company’s asset value in the middle of this year was recorded at IDR 3.34 trillion. Assets were dominated by non-current assets of IDR 2.83 trillion, while current assets were only around IDR 515.32 billion.
Meanwhile, the position of DCII’s liabilities was IDR 1.52 trillion, a slight decrease compared to the position at the end of 2022 of IDR 1.63 trillion. On the other hand, the company’s equity position in the first half of 2023 was recorded at IDR 1.82 trillion, a slight increase compared to the end of December 2022 period of IDR 1.58 trillion.
