I’ve heard from multiple sources at the company that the PC version will launch in “mid-2024,” as they hope Part 2 will perform better on PC than The Last of Us: Part One did in the first few months. Much more. So what’s new in The Last of Us: Part II Remastered? Well, it’ll obviously be prettier, take advantage of the PS5’s improved audio capabilities and have faster load times, but Naughty Dog has some other less unexpected goodies up its sleeve. The most surprising is the roguelike mode, where we can choose between many different characters with unique abilities and enter a world similar to Hades, where different paths lead to various random encounters and areas.
