Daytona: TF Sport and Racing Team Nederland make guest starts

Two other teams from the World Endurance Championship will make a guest start in Daytona. TF Sport competes in the GTD class, Racing Team Nederland will start in the LMP2 class.

The field for the 24 Hours of Daytona continues to grow and has two top-class newcomers. TF Sport and Racing Team Nederland dare to cross the pond and celebrate their debut in the IMSA SportsCar Championship.

The reigning winners of the GTE-Am classification of the 24 Hours of Le Mans want to name an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 for the GTD class. For TF Sport, Charlie Eastwood, Richard Westbrook, Maxwell Root and Ben Keating are supposed to take the wheel.

Racing Team Nederland is also breaking new ground in Daytona. When the Dutch make their first appearance, the team will field an Oreca 07 in the LMP2 class. Job van Uitert, Giedo van der Garde, Charles Milesi and Frits van Eerd have been chosen as drivers. Van Uitert, van der Garde and van Eerd will also contest the entire season of the World Endurance Championship together.

In addition to the two racing teams mentioned, Cetilar Racing, Inter Europol Competition and High Class Racing also travel to Florida. According to information from Sportscar365 Proton Competition also shows interest in a start. This would be done in the GTLM class.
