New Delhi | Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) leader K Kavita is being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the second day in a row in connection with the Delhi liquor policy corruption case. On her way to the investigating agency’s office, Kavitha showed a bag of phones to her followers and the media and said this was the evidence she would produce today.
Earlier, K. The ED had alleged that Kavitha destroyed 10 phones and destroyed the evidence. Questions were also raised about the destruction of phones. On the way to the investigating agency’s office, Kavitha showed the envelope containing the phones to the media.
K Kavita alleged political conspiracy behind ED summoning him. Kavita stated that the investigating agency summoned him by threat and coercion. BRS party leaders also said that the investigation agency has become an extension of the BJP.
ED has arrested 12 people in the case so far. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is also involved in the case. Delhi’s Rose Avenue court will hear Sisodia’s bail plea in the CBI case today.
