One family paid over 1000 euros for a day trip to an amusement park. The mother presented the bill on TikTok. Users compare prices and show spending levels.
Orlando – It is well known that rides to the amusement park can be expensive. But the tally of a family of four in the United States has exceeded many expectations. The family from Britain filed their expenses on TikTok: they had spent over $ 1000 for a day. Users made drastic comparisons. As expensive as a whole vacation with a villa? What’s behind the high sum?

“Guess how much we spent in one day,” Miranda Pearce, a British marketer, begins the video on TikTok. The Pearce family, consisting of a father, mother and two boys, went on vacation to Florida in early September. A trip to Universal Studios Orlando is also planned. But the cost ultimately seemed to upset the mother. A day at the amusement park cost her $ 1113.40 or around 1110 euros. A huge sum for a day trip. “You could have flown to Portugal for a week and rented a villa,” said one shocked user.
But why was the experience so expensive? The mother calculates the total exactly. In addition to the food in the park, the entrance ticket for four people and Fast Passes cost money. “I don’t wait in long lines with a six-year-old,” explained the mother.

Expensive family outing: Internet is shocked: “we will never visit”
The video went viral on TikTok. The clip generated over 1.7 million views in just a few weeks. No wonder, because the comments are wildly discussing the sum. “Thanks for the presentation, we will never visit it”, one of the users immediately clarifies. “Three nights in Turkey, flights and an all-inclusive hotel cost only $ 455,” calculates another.
But many aren’t really surprised. Admission is almost cheap for four people. “Wait until you go to Disney. This makes Universal look cheap. Trust me,” commented one user. According to posts on TikTok, the family had already had this treatment a few days earlier. However, there is no calculation for this. Disney also recently raised its prices.

Over 1000 euros for a visit to an amusement park: expensive or normal?

Prices for tickets, parking and accommodation were included. Universal Studios cost $ 204.14 per person per day (ticket: $ 129, parking: $ 27, overnight: $ 48.14). The Magic Kingdom Resort at Wald Disney World in Florida was rated the most expensive. An adult should pay over $ 129 for admission. Add to that $ 25 for parking and about $ 127 for the night.
