New tickets in the RVF area.
(BZ). The Regio-Verkehrsverbund Freiburg (RVF) has introduced new day tickets for local public transport – for individuals, groups and families. Day tickets are available for all three price levels, as announced by the RVF. They are offered in Solo +, Duo + and Group versions. The daily subscription replaced the previous Regio24 24 hour subscription. According to RVF, already purchased Regio24 tickets remain valid until 1 August 2023.
According to the RVF, up to four children up to and including 14 years of age travel with one adult or a total of five children in the Solo + variant. According to the announcement, the Duo + variant is suitable for two adults with up to four children. Up to five adults can travel with the group day ticket. The RVF writes that day passes are particularly attractive for leisure trips and trips to and around the city. For example, a family pays only twelve euros for a day trip from Denzlingen to Freiburg.
According to the announcement, day tickets are even cheaper when purchased as a mobile ticket via an app or online. The VAGmobil, RVF FahrPlan + and DB Navigator apps as well as the online shops of VAG and DB offer an additional digital discount of up to one euro.
The new day tickets are valid for any number of rides on all RVF buses, trams, S-Bahns and local trains. They are available at vending machines, outlets and vehicles and cost between six and 24 euros, depending on the variant and the area.
