Rose Garden. Levi, Thore and Leandra from the Black Mountains wildlife park are already very excited. Am 21. August the focus is on the young lynx offspring with his parents Ronja and Finn. Long brush ears, a round whisker, velvety paws and a short, stubby tail with a black tip. At the day of the lynx In the idyllic wildlife park on the outskirts of Hamburg, visitors can find out everything about the fascinating and at the same time rare wild animals in our forests.
How much does a cat that big weigh? What do the young offspring eat? Did you know that the name lynx means “light, sparkle” and that not only the ear brushes, but also the light beard helps lynxes to hear better?
From 11 a.m., an exciting program awaits young and old alike, all about the elegant hunters. In a lynx quiz, particularly good answers can win free tickets for the next wildlife park visit. And if you want to take a souvenir home with you, you can even cast your own plaster cast (1€) of a lynx paw on August 21st. Of course, the three sweet lynx children Levi, Thore and Leandra can also show their best side at the feeding demonstrations (11.30 a.m. / 1.30 p.m. / 3.30 p.m. / 4.30 p.m.). Incidentally, the visitors of the Wildpark Schwarze Berge suggested the names for the offspring via Facebook.
The exciting day around the silent hunters starts at 11 a.m. The event is free of charge, only the normal wildlife park entrance fee applies. More about the lynx day at www.wildpark-schwarze-berge.de.
