By order of the mayor of the Municipality of Ruse, September 2 (Saturday), 2023, is declared a day of mourning on the territory of the municipality as a sign of sympathy with the tragic death and in memory of 11-year-old Venceslav Georgiev.
During the day of mourning, the flags of all municipal buildings and public places will be lowered to half-mast. Public celebrations and entertainment events are cancelled. It is recommended that pre-organized official events, which cannot be canceled (except for those of a personal nature), be consistent with the announced mourning and begin with a minute of silence in memory of Venceslav Georgiev.
The municipal administration and the mayor Pencho Milkov express their sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased child.
