The pictures created during an art project by the day care center at Tübinger Bogen will be exhibited in the foyer of the town hall in the coming weeks.
In collaboration with the Freudenstadt Music and Art School, the Dornstetten, Glatten, Schopfloch Diakoniestation organized a project week under the motto “Painting to Music with Seniors”. The melodies and rhythms of the music heard aroused emotions and memories and were translated into physical movement and thus into the painting of pictures.
People were particularly encouraged to paint with their eyes closed, so that the sensations and feelings that were triggered could be transferred directly into the picture – without the intervention of the inner critic.
Colorful pictures were created using acrylic and watercolors.
