The sixth day of the Ice Hockey World Championship is already history. Sweden and Switzerland kept their clean sheets, while Austria suffered a defeat after the sensational win against the Czech Republic.
In the afternoon, France and Italy dueled in Group A. An extremely tight game was decided by KalPa Legionnaire Hugo Gallet in the 62nd minute. It was the second win of the group stage for the French. At the same time, Norway dueled with Austria. Although the ÖEHV cracks scored three power play hits, these were not enough against structured Vikings.
