Dawid Janczyk got another chance
Janczyk has been a footballer of the LZS since the beginning of July. In the first sparring with Stal Zawadzkie (5: 0) he scored two goals and made two assists. Last weekend he made his debut in the official match of Piotrówka in the regional league. His team lost to Sparta Paczków 3: 5, which is the leader of the second district league group in the Opolskie Voivodeship. Janczyk club is fourth in the table.
– Dawid was one of the best on the pitch. He scored a goal and had a few other goalscorer situations. We count on his hits in the next meetings – said the president of LZS Piotrówka, Ireneusz Strychacz, quoted by Interia.
– We had to face the team of LZS Piotrówka, which included the representative of Poland, Dawid Janczyk. The match is very hard, the team is demanding, but we showed that it will not be easy for the visiting teams to score 3 points at the Paczków stadium – it was written on Sparta’s Facebook profile.
According to Michał Zichlarz, Janczyk lives in Strzelce Opolskie and works in a local company. He is still a recognizable person, and fans even wanted to come to the match Legia Warsawin which he performed years ago. It was in the capital that Janczyk’s talent developed. In 2007, he transferred for 4 million euros to CSKA Moscow.
Janczyk’s career collapsed due to alcohol problems. He said about it in the book “My Confession”, which was published in September 2018. – I just wanted to open up. And I opened myself up, but it was not easy to talk about total collapse and splashing and its consequences. Because it’s a book mainly about that.
