Davina Michelle is working on ‘epic’ act Eurovision | Stars

entertainment">Together with Thekla Reuten, Davina forms the interval act, in which water is central. She wrote the song for the show Sweet water. “The song is about the fact that we are all different and grew up in a different environment,” explains the singer. “There is one thing that connects us and that is the water. I think it’s great that I can use the stage to share that with the world. ”

entertainment">For the act, according to Michelle, “the whole box of tricks is opened”, with which she refers to a number of technical highlights that the viewer will be treated to. For example, augmented reality is applied on a large scale during the broadcast, creating extra illusions. “It will be really epic,” assures Davina. “People are not going to believe what they see.”

entertainment">Davina and Thekla Reuten are not the only artists involved in the opening shows and interval acts of the Eurovision song contest. Duncan Laurence, Eefje de Visser, the trio Afrojack, Glennis Grace, Wulf and a series of former winners will also perform during one of the three shows.
