Dāvids Krūmins: From 35 Days of Chinese Captivity to Military Missions – The Real Story

Listening to Dāvids Krūmins’ story about 35 days of captivity at the Chinese border, from which he has just returned, about eight years of service in the French Legion, missions in Africa and Asia, it seems incredible that in the mass media he is mostly known as… the ex-husband of the sexy Jana Brooks from television show “Love in the camper”. David is a real businessman with quite criminal past experiences, with the experience of a highly trained military man – and this is no show. Everything happens for real.

I see that one military man aims a Kalashnikov at one driver – two shots ring out, the driver falls down. As the other driver tries to stand up, he is also shot. The third driver falls to the ground, begs not to shoot – he is not shot at either. Both wounded are bleeding on the ground in the gate. All this – a meter away.

My colleague Marko, a Slovak sitting next to me, turns to me and asks, “Is this the end?” I say, “I guess.”
