REPUBLIC OF BOBOTOH – Persib’s new player, David Kevin Rumakiek was ‘surprised’ by the treatment of his old Maung Bandung players.
The former Persipura Jayapura player was impressed by the welcome given by the old Persib players.
Like Henhen Herdiana who brought back David Rumakiek’s memory to the match 6 years ago when the two were dueling in the U-21 competition, to be precise at the U-21 Indonesia Soccer Championship (ISC) in 2016.

Henhen’s talk about the Persib U-21 match against Persipura U-21 in the last 8 of ISC U-21 in 2016, was enough to make David Rumakiek happy.
For David Rumakiek Henhen’s chat about the match which was held at the Captain I Wan Dipta Stadium, Bali, was a form of great concern from Henhen, who is older than him.
“At that time, I was 16 years old, but already played in the Persipura U-21 team. Then we faced Persib and the captain Henhen,” said David Rumakiek, quoted from the Persib website, Wednesday 18 May 2022.
“During yesterday’s meeting, we talked a lot and I’m glad he still remembers me. Everyone here has been very nice to me,” he added.
David Rumakiek is one of the 8 new faces that have so far been brought by Persib ahead of the start of the 2022-2023 Liga 1 season.
Besides David Rumakiek, Persib also brought in Ricky Kambuaya, Rachmat Irianto, Ciro Alves, Fitrul Dwi Rustapa, Eriyanto and Arsan Makarin and Satrio Azhar who were promoted from League 3 club, Bandung United.**
