Director David Lynch is developing a new series for Netflix. American media report this on Saturday following a report Production Weekly.
The project has the working title Exhibit and shooting should start in May. Further details about the new series are not yet known.
Lynch is mainly known for the television series Twin Peaks from the nineties. That series was unique at the time because of its cinematic setting and is still regarded by many as one of the precursors of contemporary thriller series. In 2017 there was a third season.
Twin Peaks is the only television series Lynch has ever made. His last feature film, Inland Empire, came out in 2006.
The 74-year-old director previously indicated that he wanted to start a new film, but that the corona crisis had put an end to that plan.
