David Fuller (67) from Heathfield in the UK has recently confessed to killing Wendy Knell and Caroline Pierce in 1987, writes BBC.
New DNA technology led Kent police to find evidence against Fuller, including Knell’s bedding, and DNA evidence was found on Pierce’s tights.
During the fourth day of the trial, Fuller admitted that he killed the women in 1987. For the first three days, he denied the killings.
Sexual abuse of corpses
He has previously admitted sexual abuse of over a hundred human bodies at two morgues in Kent for over many years.
The 67-year-old is said to have abused dead women between the ages of one hundred and all the way down to childhood.
The case has caused shock waves in the UK, and now Home Secretary Priti Patel has spoken in the murder case.
– This is a shocking case. The nauseating case behind these crimes will understandably create disgust and cause concern, Patel said according to the BBC.
– I also want to remember Wendy Knell and Caroline Pierce. Two young women who had their lives brutally taken away from them over 30 years ago. I hope your families can find some comfort in the fact that justice will be done.
