David Douillet came to support a young chess prodigy this Tuesday in Chartres.
The Harvey company, which has former champions, including David Douillet, who have had different career paths and who had a dream, that of properly housing young people in particular, through colonies. These types of housing are widespread in Asia and America. One of these co-living spaces will soon emerge on rue du Faubourg-Saint-Jean, in Chartres.
In 2019, the company created Harvey Solidarity, an endowment fund committed to supporting young athletes. The Olympic judo champion and former sports minister was present in Chartres to hand over a check for 50,000 euros to Marc Andria Maurizzi, 16.
David Douillet was accompanied by David Inquel, another high-level judoka. Works next to the station should start next month. Listen to Paul Guibal’s report.
