De Gea was offered a contract on reduced terms at Old Trafford, with no final resolution being reached between the player and the club.
While talks continue with the Red Devils, the 32-year-old is considering his options elsewhere.
According to The Sun, Al Nassr is preparing to offer him a potential £250,000 a week contract to move to Saudi Arabia.
It remains to be seen if De Gea is interested in a move to Saudi Arabia, where he would link up with his former teammate Ronaldo.
Ronaldo and De Gea played together for 18 months after the Portuguese star completed his return to Man United in the summer of 2021 from Juventus.
Ronaldo has largely been the pioneer of the Saudi Pro League after stars like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy and Ruben Neves moved to the Middle East.
Al Nassr also appears set to sign Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan, meaning he will join Ronaldo and potentially De Gea when the Saudi Arabian side look to beat rivals Al-Ittihad for the title next season.
However, with Benzema and Kante leaving for Al-Ittihad, it means the competition will be fierce.
