David de Gea wants to end his career at MU

Manchester

Future David DeGea Of Manchester United is still a question mark as the contract is about to expire. But she intends to survive.

David de Gea’s contract with MU will expire in a few months, to be precise in June 2023. The ‘Red Devils’ still have the option for a one-year extension, but there is talk of a long-term contract.

The 32-year-old goalie has had an up-and-down career at MU. His journey has been colored by much criticism, even at the start of the Erik ten Hag era this season, when he was deemed unsuitable for the manager’s style.

However, De Gea’s heart is tied to MU, the club he defended for 12 years. The 32-year-old goalkeeper is hoping to sign a new contract and retire at Old Trafford.

“I’m very relaxed about this. I’m just focused on training, performing in the best possible way. But for sure, this will end well,” he said on the contract situation, as quoted Sky Sports.

“I hope to stay for the rest of my career. I said this is my club, I’ve been here for many years and it’s a great honor to be here and I’m very happy to be here,” added De Gea.
