David da Silva reveals the reason for his emotional celebration after scoring a goal against the net Persija Jakarta. Because it is a comeback goals and performances.
The Brazilian player helped Persib avoided defeat when his team was hosted by Persija in the 11th week Liga 1 2023/24, at Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi City, Saturday (2/9/2023). Before breaking into Persija, former Persebaya Surabaya’s last goal came when Persib were held by Arema FC 3-3 on 7 July. At the beginning of this season, he is having trouble scoring goals, where until now he has only netted the ball three times.

“When I am given the opportunity to play, I want to always help the team. Why am I emotional, not only because I have just returned to score goals,” said David da Silva about his celebration.
“But I think in every match, I want to increase my confidence to help this team to be more optimal,” he added.
The goal from the Brazilian player meant so much to me Persib. Maung Bandung has managed to maintain its positive trend in the last three matches with the results of two wins and one draw.
Even though it only added one point, at least Persib managed to improve their ranking at League 1 standings temporary. Now Persib placed 8th with 15 points.
“What I did was natural because we scored in the last minute. I celebrated as usual and it was a derby because the crowd saw it,” he said. David da Silva.
