Persib Bandung’s new striker, David da Silva, is very happy to be back playing in Indonesia after he started his career in Indonesia for the first time in 2018, with Persebaya Surabaya. David himself is known as a master predator during his playing in League 1.
He has recorded 35 goals in Indonesia with Persebaya. Even his slick appearance for the Green Force made a team from South Korea, Pohang Steelers, recruit him in the 2019 season competition. However, in the second round of Liga 1 2019, David returned to Persebaya.

Persib hopes a lot on the quality of David, who last season played in the Malaysian competition for Terengganu. David said that he had had feelings for Persib for a long time, but only met Maung Bandung in the second round of Liga 1 2021/22.
“I’m happy to be back in Indonesia. I have a good story here. Since I first came to Indonesia, I’ve respected Persib. I feel like I already have a relationship with this team. I’m happy to join this club,” he explained, reported on the official Persib website.
“Persib and Persebaya are the two biggest clubs in Indonesia. These two teams have a very good relationship, like the same club. They have the biggest and biggest supporters in the world. I really respect the bonek. I remember, one time in the stadium, they ( dolls and boboh) sing together.. When I hear it, I feel emotional. I feel very lucky to know how much they love us.
