Dave Hérault: a candidate who wishes to make a difference within the municipal council of Fort-Coulonge

The citizens of the Municipality of the village of Fort-Coulonge are called upon to exercise their voting rights during the by-election for the position of Councilor 1. CHIP 101.9 spoke with Dave Hérault, one of the two candidates in view of this election. He mentioned that he had been interested for a long time in several issues affecting municipal politics and that he felt that it was the right time to get into active politics.

Well, I’ve been following municipal politics for a while now, here in Fort-Coulonge. During the last election, I had thought about it, but it was not the right time. There, now, my oldest, he’s finishing hockey, I’m going to have a lot more time for myself and I think it’s time to dedicate myself and try to make some changes. I think I would be a productive board member. I’m young, I’m involved in the arena, I’m involved in the community as Knights of Columbus. So, I think it’s the right time to do that.
