Pele’s health

Pelé’s medical condition has worsened and requires more treatmentreads the medical bulletin released last Wednesday by the hospital where he is being treated.

He “shows the progression of the oncological disease”, i.e. an advance of colon cancer which he has been working on since last year. Doctors pay special attention to “renal and heart dysfunction.”

Pele spent Christmas in the hospital, according to one of his daughters posted on social media. “Our Christmas at home has been suspended. We have decided with the doctors that, for several reasons, it is best for us to stay here,” Kelly Nascimento wrote.

This is the 26th day that the King of Football has been admitted to the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo, where he checked in on Nov. 29 for a reevaluation of his chemotherapy treatment. He is 82 years old.
