Lawyer Mona Zulfiqar, the daughter of the late great artist Salah Zulfiqar, said that her father married the artist Zahrat Al-Ula in 1957, but this marriage ended quickly without anyone knowing anything about her.
Mona Zulfikar added, in her meeting with the media, Mona El-Shazly, on the program “With You Mona El-Shazly”, broadcast on CBC, that the family was bored of her father’s marriage to Shadia, and when the family was opening the TV to watch Shadia’s films, there was anger at this behavior, saying: “When we watched Shadia’s films as an artist, the family used to get angry with us, but my mother was an exceptional and very sane woman, despite my father’s marriage to Shadia, and she left us the freedom to watch movies inside the house.”
Attorney Mona Zulfiqar indicated that she is completely against the idea of polygamy, adding in her talk about art: “There was a very strong family relationship with the artist Faten Hamama, and she and my mother were very close friends, and when she married my uncle Ezzedine Zulfiqar, she was very close.” from us.”
And she continued: “I love the films, more precious than my life, and the second man, to my father because he presented the role of Hail, and the movie The Second Man was very wonderful, as well as his role in Al-Nasser Salah El-Din and Issa Al-Awam, as I loved his role in Soft Hands and PhD in Even.”
